Caros Participantes do IX.br de São Paulo,
Como parte das medidas para o contínuo aprimoramento dos serviços prestados e aumento de escalabilidade operacional, será necessario a alteracao da máscara de rede do espaço de endereçamento IPv4 utilizado na VLAN compartilhada, conforme anunciado durante o IXFórum 13.
A VLAN compartilhada IPv4 atende exclusivamente os participantes do Acordo de Troca de Tráfego Multilateral (ATM) em IPv4 e os acordos bilaterais estabelecidos através dela.
A mudança consiste basicamente na alteração da máscara de rede que passará de /21 para /20 conforme segue:
De: 187.16.216.0/21 (255.255.248.0)
Para: 187.16.208.0/20 (255.255.240.0)
Amanhã das 08:00 hrs as 11:00 hrs (GMT -3) a alteração será realizada no RS1 (187.16.216.253/20), a interrupção do serviço não afetará a troca de tráfego.
O IX.br solicita que todos os participantes realizem as mudanças correspondentes nas suas estruturas, para adequação a partir do dia 08 / Janeiro / 2020.

Dear Sao Paulo IX.br Participants,
As part of measures for the continuous services improvement and in order to increase operational scalability, it will be necessary to change the netmask of the IPv4 address space used in the shared VLAN as announced during the 13 IX Forum.
The shared IPv4 VLAN serves exclusively the IPv4 Multilateral Peering Agreement (MLPA) participants and bilateral agreements established through it.
The change basically consists in changing the netmask that will move from /21 to /20 as follows:
From: 187.16.216.0/21 (255.255.248.0)
To : 187.16.208.0/20 (255.255.240.0)
Tomorrow from 08:00 hrs to 11:00 hrs (GMT -3) the change will be made in RS1 (187.16.216.253/20), the service interruption will not affect the traffic exchange.
The IX.br requests all participants to do the corresponding changes in their structures in order to adaptation from 08 / January / 2020.
